Mannucci Droandi: let us introduce ourselves
The Organic estate Mannucci Droandi (farmers and winemakers from the 18° century) is owned by Società Agricola Nuova Agricoltura S.r.l.; Maria Grazia Mammuccini is the CEO, assisted by Roberto Giulio Droandi and Tommaso Venturi (Sales Area) and Gianfrancesco Paoletti (consultant Oenologist).
The farm, certified Organic from 2000, is situated both in the Chianti Colli Aretini, Chianti Classico and Valdarno di Sopra zones, a hilly territory full of oenological tradition for ages. Mannucci Droandi produces a range of best value Organic terroir wines, endowed with a strong distinctive, charming character.
From the first-class entry-level Chianti Colli Aretini Docg Mannucci Droandi, to the full-bodied challenging Ceppeto and Ceppeto Riserva Chianti Classico Docg, from the top-level elegant Campolucci, to the rare, stunning “Yesterdays’ Wines”, the line of single-variety wines made with three old forgotten Tuscan grapes Foglia Tonda, Barsaglina (both Toscana Igt) and Pugnitello Valdarno di Sopra Doc, the target is to come up to clients’ expectations the world over.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful vineyard, very tasty wine and local Tuscan cuisine! We were a group of 15 and enjoyed wine tasting and a 4 course lunch at this magic place.

Wonderful visit at the winery. Roberto gave our group a tour & we had a fabulous dinner in the barrel room. An incredible homemade meal, with several courses & wines to go with each.
Outstanding wines, wonderful food & dining with Roberto was such a treat! We purchased wine for our vacation there…& had a case shipped back to the US. Loved it!

Merci encore pour cet accueil chaleureux, Roberto parle très bien le Français et je garderai une nouvelle fois un souvenir exceptionnel de cette dégustation et de nos échanges. Le domaine est situé dans un endroit magnifique et selon moi les vins sont les reflets parfaits du terroir Toscan, des vins sapides et construits pour la gastronomie . Roberto réhabilite également des anciens cépages en voie de disparition et le résultat est probant, le bonheur est dans le verre.

Exceptional vineyard having still local grapes that generate impressive wines that can be advantageously compared to much more expensive bottles. We discovered the Pugnitello grapes.. expect to see many more in Tuscany in the future.
The gentlemen is passionate about Napoleon Bonaparte and history in general. A very pleasant and educated couple. We will definitely come back.

Wunderschöne Gegend. Zu Beginn dachten wir „wo sind wir gelandet?“ doch als wir ankamen wurden wir direkt sehr nett empfangen und bekamen eine super Weinprobe spezialisiert auf trockene Rotweine. Das über mehrere Generationen geführte Bio-Weingut ist nur zu empfehlen. Ebenso gibt es top Olivenöl.
P.S. mit dem Besitzer konnte man sich super auf Englisch verständigen.

It was lovely to visit this vineyard and to learn about the wine making process. We really enjoyed talking with Roberto about wine but it was also great to learn more about Italy and his passion for history!
