We are located in Val Freddana, a few kilometers from the center of Lucca, an area kissed by the sun and crossed by continuous wind currents that come directly from the Mediterranean Sea
13 Total hectares surround the central body of the WINERY, organic and biodynamic , Guyot or Tuscan Capovolto breeding. Soils rich in minerals, mixed clay and sand origins of Tuscan boulder
The cellar was rebuilt in 2010: in the Vinification part it has stainless steel tanks, non-vitrified concrete, with controlled temperatures. The wine refinement room then continues with raw cement tulips, large barrels and french oak tonneaux cellar
in 2021 we have inaugurated our tasting room, where you can taste all our products

Julia was amazing! This was our first stop once we got in to Lucca at the end of March. The snacks were wonderful. The wine was great and Julia was so accommodating, educational and sweet.

If you want a chianti based wine that is still created by stomping feet, you need to head to this family winery. The wines reflect the love and respect the members of the family have for the terroir, history and beauty of these magnificent Tuscan mountains. The wines are varied and unique and organic. This place is worth the visit. I left with 12 bottles shipped home to the US. I can’t wait until they arrive!.

Great wines and snacks. Our server was also very knowledgeable about the wines and friendly, even let me go pick some of the Merlot grapes from the vine. Definitely more on the quiet side.

Excellent winery with a small farm like feel and no commercial atmosphere !! Marco was awesome and spent lots of time with us explaining every aspect of his family winery. The wines were great but the service that he provides was just what my family and I were looking for. Also, don’t forget to try the olive oil that he presses from the olives on the property. It was awesome. Wish i could spend a week there and also buy more wine. Good work Marco

The wine was very nice for such a small producer. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine and operation. I would recommend tasting the wines made with their local grapes as they do have some in the list which use non-local.

Super nette Bedienungen – immer mit einem Lachen im Gesicht. Sehr leckere Weine, tolle Terrasse mit Blick in die Weite.
Zu jedem Wein bekamen wir immer sehr leckere und hochwertige Häppchen.
Wir haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt – gerne immer wieder!

I really love this place. The wine is wonderful, the people friendly and the views are beautiful. Valle del Sole is a small biodynamic family winery in the Northern hills of Lucca. They offer tastings of their range of wines but you can also go and enjoy a bottle on their patio and enjoy the views and the breezes (esp. in summer). I recommend making a reservation if you want to go and visit.

My two daughters and myself visited the charming winery of Valle del Sole the first week of June. I can’t begin to tell you how great it all was! Marco was so personable, sweet and gave a very informative tour. We were the only ones there and it was wonderful!! The wine was all fabulous, as well as the olive oil. The entire vineyard and facility was beautiful; (not too large and “touristy”) very quaint and exactly what we were hoping for! Again, Marco made it all so very special! (and he’s good looking too!)
I would HIGHLY recommend a visit to this lovely winery. We are from Texas and it was like a dream being there in every way possible.

We really enjoyed our wine tasting at Valle del Sole. It was a spontaneous idea to visit the winery after spending the day in Lucca, which is a 20 min drive. We didn’t book anything, but we still received a very warm welcome from Marco, the owner. He was very friendly and helpful. We tasted 5 delicious wines, whites & reds and his wonderful olive oil. In the mean time Marco told us about the history of the winery, the grapes and the proces of making wine and showed us the different barrels. It was a great experience and we would definetley recommend a wine tasting at Valle del Sole.
