The CORDELLA estate run by Maddalena CORDELLA was established in 1998 when Maddalena’ s father, Orlando CORDELLA , transferred part of the bigger family estate to her.
Heading south – east from Montalcino hill towards the little village of Torrenieri, the PODERE MELETO farmhouse stands on a hill among green vineyards and surrounded by the Tuscan hills favoured by photographers and the cypresses of the NATURAL and ARTISTIC VAL D’ORCIA PARK.
At the ground floor of the PODERE MELETO has siege the headquarters of the estate while at the first floor there is the AGRIRELAIS FATTORIA AL MELETO.
The grapes grown on the estate’s vineyards since 1998 had been sold, but in 2006 Maddalena, together with her father, decided to vinify a part of the grapes produced.
In the year 2010 was build the brand new winery, home of the BRUNELLO CORDELLA.
About 9 hectars of the carefully maintained vineyards are now assigned to winemaking . The grapes undergo thorough testing and modern agronomic practices and benefit from Maddalena’s father experience, while the oenologists in charge take care of the actual wine making.
This is the reason why Maddalena decided to distinguish her Wine and the other products from her estate with her last name, so as to show the affection and passion that link her to both her family and to the territory she lives in.
It is her philosophic view of running the estate, that is to say, making strict and targeted choices whether in the vineyards or in the cellars, that enables her to produce such a high quality product, sought after by top Italian and foreign connoisseurs.

PREMIUM VISIT OF THE VINEYARDS AND WINERY WITH LUNCH/DINNER – 2h – € 140pp
After having visited the vineyards and the winery our chef Aldo Di Gennaro will pamper you with a 4 courses meal made up of Tuscan starters and truffle canapes, Hand made pasta with sauce, Chianina Veal filet mignon, side, and his famous Tiramisù.
Your personal bottle of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino will accompany the meal.
Children under 18 years do not pay.
CORDELLA PREMIUM TASTING – 2h – € 40pp
Dear Guest if you want to enjoy a great seated tasting including the tour of the winery, Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Grappa Riserva, normal Grappa, light food included salami and cheeses, in our private romantic room with view over Montalcino, this is the tasting for you.

After your arrival in the estate you will follow the truffle hunter with his dog along the River looking for Truffles.
After a great lunch/dinner with the black truffle is waiting for you. Starters, first and second course with black truffle based.

Had the most amazing wine tasting a tour here! Such a great experience and would highly recommend for anyone coming to the region
A fantastic experience, highly recommended! We stayed in the apartment over the tasting room which was immaculate and huge. There was only two of us but it would be perfect for a family or a larger group as there were 3 bedrooms. The meal and tasting experience was exceptional. We were given a extensive tour of the wine making facilities ahead of a 4 course dinner and tasting of the rose and red wines that Cordelia produces. Aldo’s cooking gave us the best meal we’ve had in Italy and we were so full we didn’t need breakfast in the morning. I’d highly recommend Cordelia for a relaxing authentic break in Tuscany.
